Please read this agreement carefully before using CGC UK Investments website (“Website”). They represent the terms and conditions (“Terms”) for using and placing orders on the Website. Using our Website indicates that you accept the Terms. If you do not agree to these, then do not use our Website. You are permitted to use our Website solely on the basis of these Terms.

When you register as a new customer of CGC UK Investments Ltd(CGC) you are accepting CGC’s terms and conditions.

CGC reserves the right to modify its T&Cs on the basis that it will publish any modifications on its website and notify all its registered customers of the changes 30 days prior to change. During this period all customers have the right to terminate their relationship with CGC. Customers have the right to sell all their holdings and close their account. If metal is still held in account after 30 days then you are deemed to have accepted the change in the T&Cs.


Any opinion or information provided by CGC UK Investments Ltd to any price, investment performance or trading condition is not be be considered advise. Metal prices are fluid and can go up as well as down. Any type of saving or investment in metal carries a certain degree of risk, which may be unsuitable for certain people. You should consider your suitability for saving in metal products and consider seeking financial advise before proceeding from an independent financial advisor. Please note that saving and investing in metal products is not covered by the Financial Services Authority.


The availability of our site does not constitute an offer nor an invitation by CGC to use the site in any jurisdiction in which such use is illegal.

So long as you do so in accordance with these Terms, you may view and download our Website for your personal use only. However, you must note that we may change, suspend or discontinue the Website or the provision of Products under the Website at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content. CGC may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or the entire Website without notice or liability.

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any equipment or ancillary services needed to connect to, access or otherwise use the Website, including, without limitation, modems, hardware, software, and long distance or local telephone service.


To participate in CGC online service, to place orders, to save and to receive products via the Website, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or over;

• Be resident (and remain resident) in the United Kingdom or Channel Islands.

• Complete our registration procedure in which you will need to provide us with personal details needed to process your order.

• Accept the T&Cs.

You must ensure that the details which you provide during registration or at any time after registration are correct and complete.

You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by contacting us.


When registered as a CGC UK Investments Saver before any precious metals are sold we will require certain identification.

Should you a.) Make a single purchase of more than £5,000 or b.) make multiple purchases of more than £10,000 over a 12 month period you will be asked to verify your account under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and the Money Laundering Regulations 2007.

You undertake to identify yourself to CGC in accordance with the identity verification procedure required by BS. You authorise to allow CGC to make any necessary enquiries to help validate your identity. You agree to supply one photo identification either, drivers license or passport. CGC will only accept clear scanned copies of documents and may ask for further copies should information not be clear.

CGC require two proofs of address. Including a copy of a recent of a recent (no more than 3 months old) bank statement matching your registration name and address, sort code and account number.

Failure to validate an account will mean CGC will be unable authorise any request to buy, sell or deliver any metal in the account.

CGC reserves the right to request identification documentation prior to any transaction subject to issues or concerns under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and the Money Laundering Regulations 2007.


CGCprimary means of communications with its customers will be via email.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have a reliable email service provider. CGCis entitled to rely on your acceptance of any information passed to you via email within 3 days of transmission.

Our website is open 24 hours a day 365 days per year. There may from time to time be both planned and unplanned downtime. We will aim to minimise disruption to our service by carrying out essential maintenance either at the weekend or evening, however you accept that service interruption is an unavoidable event. Service interruption may mean open orders are lost. It is your responsibility to ensure all orders have been accepted. CGC sends email confirmations for accepted orders and you should contact us immediately if you do not receive one.


Prices and Payment

The prices which you must pay for the Products that you Order are set out on the Website at the time you place your order, except where we discover an error in the price of the Products you have ordered. In this event, we will inform you as soon as possible after receiving your Order and give you the option of reconfirming your Order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the Order as cancelled.

CGCwill delay dispatch until receipt of cleared funds.

Orders and Acceptance

You may place Orders using the online process for ordering Products via the Website.

When you place an Order with us, we need to obtain various details from you so that we can process your Order. You must ensure that the details which you provide each time you place an Order are correct and complete.

Once you have placed an Order to purchase a product from the Website you will receive an e-mail regarding the status of your order.

Your Order is an offer to purchase Products from us, which is subject to our acceptance in accordance with these Terms. Our acceptance of your Order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place upon dispatch to you of the Products ordered.

Therefore all Orders are subject to verification, us receiving payment and also stock availability.

If the Products ordered are not available, you will be notified by our Customer Services department using the contact details you have provided and you will have the option either to (i) wait until the Products are available from stock; or (ii) cancel your Order.

Any offers for Products at discounted prices or with additional loyalty rewards, detailed on the Website, may be made available from time to time for you to Order (subject to our acceptance) for a limited period of time as stated in that offer.


Delivery will be made to the address specified by you when you place your Order. We cannot deliver to P.O Box addresses.

We will do our best to deliver next working day for Orders where cleared funds are received before 3pm. However, we cannot be held responsible for ensuring stock of each specific Product is available at all times or for delays or failures due to adverse weather, traffic delays, mechanical breakdowns or other circumstances beyond our control.

The Delivery fee applicable to your specific order will be set out clearly in the checkout process.

Ownership of the Products you Order on the Website shall pass to you on delivery provided that we have received the full value for such Products.


You may cancel your Order at any time prior to dispatch by calling our Customer Help Line on (0800 999 8995) or sales@certifiedgoldcards.com. A cancellation fee of £25 and a fee based on any adverse movement of the underlying metal price may apply.

The right to cancel under the Distance Selling regulations does NOT apply because the goods we supply are dependent on fluctuations in the financial market and are therefore exempt from the right to cancel.


You acknowledge your competence to trade having read and understood relevant aspects of the operation of CGC system from the online section ‘How it works’ on the Smaer Bullion website. You understand that transferring funds into your account is an instruction to CGC to buy metal on your behalf, minus fees incurred but not limited to storage, commission and processing. Funds cleared prior to 16:00, CGC will aim to make the purchase on the following next working day gold fix.

All orders to sell will also be based on the above procedure and conditions. You accept sale charges laid down on CGC website.

Whilst CGC provides and online calculator to estimate the amount of metal you will purchase with your funds the actual amount will vary based on the following criteria.

• Market price variations beyond CGC control.

• The amount of cash deposited will incur variable charges as laid down in the pricing policy laid out under fees and charges on Smart

CGC only authorises buy and sell transaction on the London Bullion Market a.m gold fix.

Note that gold fixes do not take place on weekends and Bank Holidays and therefore any action to buy or sell prior to weekends or Bank Holidays will be actioned on the next LBMA gold fix.

CGC will only action outgoing fund transfers to bank accounts held in the account holders name. CGC aim to transfer funds within 24 hours, but funds my take up to 4 days to be received into your account

System failures by CGC or other firms may result in a disruption of trade and as a result CGC may be unable to complete your order in a timely fashion, which may result in considerable fluctuation in the amount of bullion purchased on your behalf and allocated to your CGC UK Investments Saver Account.

Any delays in processing buying or selling metal orders are not a CGC responsibility.

You have the right to withdraw your bullion from BS. Physical withdrawals cannot be delivered to PO BOX addresses.

You accept withdrawal charges laid down on CGC UK Investments website.

10. RISK.

As a metal holder you are exposed to risk of a potential loss from falling bullion prices. This risk is not the responsibility of CGC.

Insurance exclusions. As your property your bullion is subject to insurance exclusions imposed by insurance underwriters in line with standard insurance practices regarding the physical protection of your bullion. These excluded risks are published on CGC website and include such things as nuclear war and as such are not the responsibility of CGC. The risks described under force majeure are not CGC responsibility


All fees and charges are laid out on the CGC UK Investments website. In the event that charges are outstanding because you have not paid money in, or raised cash by selling gold, CGC has the right to sell your metal to raise money to cover these charges.


CGC warrants that all gold held in account is 100% pure gold of a 999.9 assay.


All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

You agree that we may use Personal Information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected.

Your email address is essential in order for us to be able to supply you with important information such as order confirmations and changes to the service. By registering with CGC you accept that your email address may be used to supply you with such information.

As part of your registration you may receive newsletters or updates from time to time. Please note these communications would only be from bullionsolutions.co.uk and rest assured we would never share your details with a third party. If you would like to opt out of receiving these occasional emails click the unsubscribe link on the email and you will be removed from our database. Alternatively, call or email us directly and we will action this for you. Unsubscribing from our newsletter will not affect your ability to receive your order confirmation emails and will not affect your online account status.


It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their chosen password and passcode remains known only to themselves and that the computer(s) they are using to access the CGC UK Investments and Savings website remains free from viruses that may compromise their online security.

Whilst logged in to the CGC UK Investments Savings Account all communications between the customer’s computer and our servers takes place over an SSL secured internet connection, generally regarded as offering the highest level of commercially available internet security.


CGC may suspend or cancel your CGC UK Investments Trading Account if you breach any or our Terms and Conditions. In such a situation any metal holdings will be liquidated and paid into your bank account, less our usual fund transfer fees and an administration fee to cover our costs.
